Rick Warren ~ pastor of Saddleback Church
Richard Duane 'Rick' Warren is the founder and pastor of the evangelical megachurch, Saddleback Church, in Lake Forest, California, the fourth largest church in the United States.
Our ministry in service to God and His Word (Acts 6:4; 20:24; 1 Cor. 16:15; 2 Cor. 5:18; 1 Tim. 1:12) first made contact with Mr. Warren on August 17, 2008, after he conducted an interview with John McCain and Barack Obama, to inform him that he was a false preacher and that he serviced unto them which by nature are no gods.
Please find below a copy of our last communication with him on January 5, 2009. A copy was also forwarded to the current administration and President Elect and incoming Vice President of the United States of America, and the following news organizations: CNN, Fox, Associated Press, Canadian Press, The Globe & Mail, The National Post, CBC, CTV, ATV, and The Chronicle Herald.

As part of human history, it has always been customary for mankind to debate issues with respect of differences of opinion on such important subjects as peace vs. war, hope vs. despair, health vs. sickness, life vs. death, riches vs. poverty, pro- or anti-views on such issues as same-sex marriage, homosexuality, abortion, birth control, religion, the Bible, etc., etc.
The key objective of any public educational system has always been to give people a better understanding of those issues. Public debate has also been the central view point of any democratic political system, where people are seeking solutions to improve their daily lives.
Especially during the last fifty years and with the aid of the electronic media, people have been able to see and watch how this world has become more and more divided.
This includes the religions of this world, who have become more and more divided as they cannot even agree on the subject of sin and on such issues like homosexuality, same-sex marriage, abortion, ordination of women, birth control, pre-marital sex, etc., etc. (Mathew 12:25,26).
You yourself waffle on issues like homosexuality and abortion that divides the evangelical movement as a result of the division within, since the movement has nothing to do with the wisdom and the Spirit of God.
As a result of your spiritual blindness you are not able to see that your leaders and followers are subject to the works of the flesh as described in Galatians 5:19-21.
Remember Ted Haggard, Douglas Goodman, Oral Roberts, Jim & Tammy Bakker, Jimmy Swaggert, Lonnie Frisbee, James Hargis, Aimee Semple McPherson, Peter Popoff, Mike Warnke, Robert Tilton, Frank Houston, Richard Roberts, the Armstrong's, etc., etc.
By clicking on Google Search this morning and entering "evangelical scandals" it listed over 440,000 sites. Can the blind lead the blind? Shall they both not fall into the ditch (Matthew 15:14; Luke 6:39)? The believers already know the answer to the last question and it is an astounding "Yes", without any doubt whatsoever.
The following is taken from the Chapter 'Born of God' of the book A World Deceived. It is also listed on the web site www.aworlddeceived.ca
ANYONE 'BORN OF GOD' KNOWS THAT:
"- God cannot be received by this present world and that so-called world evangelization is a deception at the highest level and the workings of the spirit of this world (John 1:5,10; 8:23; 14:17,22; 15:19,20; 17:9,14,16,25; 18:36; Rom. 8:7; 1 Cor. 1:20; 2:4-8, 12-14; 1 Thess. 3:3; 2 Tim. 3:12; James 4:4; 1 John 2:15; 3:1; 5:4,19; 2 John 7)."If there are thirty scriptural references in the New Testament alone, then it must be true and there can be no mistake about it.
You yourself search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life, but we know that you have not the word of God abiding in you: for whom he has sent, you believe him not (John 5:37-39).
It also confirms what is written in 1 Cor. 2:14 that the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him. Therefore all the things I have communicated to you recently and which are also communicated to the world in the book A World Deceived and on the web site www.aworlddeceived.ca, you have not been able to understand (1 Cor. 2:14) as a result of your own spiritual blindness.
Therefore, and in order that people may know the truth, I invite you to a public debate. You have the privilege of arranging any debate at your convenience and at a format that you are comfortable with. If you wish, you could arrange it into a 'town hall' type of meeting, where questions are directed by the general public. I will ask that members of the media are invited as well, including CNN.
Any public debate will prove for instance that your book 'The Purpose Driven Life' and your preaching is after the wisdom and spirit of this world and not after the Spirit of God (1 Cor. 2:4-16).
It is about this present (natural) life and the use of the word 'spiritual' in your book is after the natural spirit and has nothing to do whatsoever with God and His Kingdom. In fact you stole the word from the Bible (John 10:1) and have no knowledge of the true meaning.
The discussion will also prove that you service unto them which by nature are no gods (Gal. 4:8). It will further prove that you have no knowledge what it means to be a sinner or to repent and that you are in bondage under the rudiments and elements of this world (Gal. 4:2).
It will confirm that you are deceiving all the people of this world (Rev. 12:9) by preaching a false Christ (Matthew 24:24). You speak with great swelling words about 'love' but we know that you have not the love of God in you (John 5:42).
People will come to know that you are a false preacher and of the same spirit as those that promote abortion rights, homosexuality and same-sex marriage, and that you judge them after the flesh (John 8:15) and unless you repent you will die in your sin.
As a result of your spiritual blindness, you will not be able to understand what I am about to write, and in a way it sounds somewhat silly, but it is nevertheless the absolute truth; you are of the same spirit as the Reverend Shnorr of the Jerry Springer Show, Jerry Springer himself and the people that attend and watch his show.
This is also true for all those that attend your church or any other church. This is how Satan and the spirit of this world has transformed himself into an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14). Your righteousness is not of God but rather self-righteousness and after your natural spirit (the devil) and the spirit of this world.
This is how you have transformed yourself into an apostle of Christ (1 Cor. 11:13). For a better understanding of the natural and the spiritual body (1 Cor. 15:44), what it means to be a sinner, repent or judge and being born again, we encourage you to review and study all the pages and articles of the web site www.aworlddeceived.ca
Since you claim to be able to give people advice on a purpose in this life, while using little snippets out of the Bible which you are unable to understand, it is our sincere hope that you will accept our invitation for the sake of the people, so that they may know the truth, and therefore we look forward to hearing from you.
You may need a BA, Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degree to preach the wisdom of this world (1 Cor. 2:4-16) to please mankind, but we do not seek to please men, for if it yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ, but I certify you that the gospel which is preached of me is not after man, for I never received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ (Gal. 9-12).
For some time now I have spoken that we live during a time in history that God's judgment will prevail as a result of man's ignorance of His message of repentance.
God's judgment has always been present in this world, but this will be a time as has not been seen since the beginning of creation.
Nothing you say or do will be able to stop it, as your prayers will be all in vain as you teach for doctrines the commandments of men (Matthew 15:9; Mark 7:7).
Barack Obama's message of false hope and promises of more and more money for failing businesses, will make no difference and his recovery plan and stimulus package for a revived economy will merely prove to be a band-aid solution.
People will come to know that the 'so-called' American Dream was built after the wisdom of man and not after God (1 Cor. 2:4-16). There will simply be no solution.
Mankind and especially in the developed world, including the United States, will see that the time of change and judgment is already here and not in the same way Barack Obama had envisioned 'change'.
If you are not convinced, I suggest you speak with those that were at one time or are currently employed in the automotive industry.
At one time the 'Big Three' were the largest employers in the world. Consider the downtown area of the City of Detroit and what every downtown area of every City in this Country will come to symbolize in the years ahead, with closed shops, deteriorating buildings and vacant office towers.
Developers and owners of shopping malls will not know what to do with the increased numbers of vacant stores and many malls will become disintegrating monuments and reminders of mankind's past riches.
Consider the news this past week how people have been glad to have been able to say 'goodbye' to 2008. I will not be there to remind you what mankind will have to say about 2009 or 2010 and the years ahead.
In due course, people will even turn on people like you and all the other false preachers. They will come to know that they were mislead and that the message you preached was one of false hope that will turn into despair in every corner of the world.
We have communicated our message to the media for the last twenty years and even they will be confounded as they failed to communicate our testimony and God's true message of repentance as they continue to spread a message of false doctrines but not the truth.
CNN's program on Jesus and the early church recently, only described part of the history but contained no 'spiritual' truths that could have helped mankind with their understanding of Jesus Christ; who He was and why He came into this world.
Let me just confirm that He came to give 'Life' unto the world (John 6:33) but mankind rejected Him in the same manner as they are today, including yourself.
The conflict between Palestinians and Israelites is caused by the same spirit that causes you and the other false preachers to deceive the people of this world. The thousands of children dying from starvation in Darfur are of the same spirit as you and your followers (Luke 9:55).

Mankind has tried in vain to bring peace to this world, but in case you wonder why man has not been successful in its efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East for instance, I encourage you to read Matthew 12:25,26. You will note that this is the same message we explain in the book 'A World Deceived' and on the web site.
In case you still do not believe in our message of repentance, we encourage you to read the message of God's judgment as it was preached by God's messengers that have gone before us, beginning with Isaiah, before God Himself decided to come into this world in the name of Jesus Christ two thousand years ago.
Our message is no different and the days of old will be the same for mankind today. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8).
We have also forwarded a copy of this e-mail to Joel Osteen. In the future his ministry will fail in the same manner like all the other false preachers. As the breadbasket is being removed from the people of this world, all of these ministries will collapse like a deck of cards.
You take the money away and there will be nothing left and people will come to realize that it was built on the wrong foundation and a false Christ and not after God.
This will be our last message to you, but we will forward copies of our recent communications a few years from now to remind you that we communicated a true message from God.
Sometime in the future you will come to understand that your participation in the inauguration of Barack Obama was a deception.
As a servant of sin (John 8:34) the deliverance of the invocation by you will prove to be a futile exercise in service to the spirit of this world and an abomination in God's eyes.
You will also wish that you had listened to my message and His voice today.
