Ted Haggard's latest claim is falsehood

On June 1, 2010 Haggard announced that he intended to start a new church in Colorado Springs and in a recent interview with HLN's Joy Behar he claimed to be a changed man. This is falsehood.

Ted Arthur Haggard (born June 27, 1956) is an American evangelical preacher. Known as Pastor Ted to the congregation he serves, he is the founder and former pastor of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado; a founder of the Association of Life-Giving Churches; and was leader of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) from 2003 until November 2006.

In November 2006, prostitute and masseur Mike Jones alleged that Haggard had paid Jones to engage in sex with him for three years and had also purchased and used crystal methamphetamine. A few days later Haggard resigned from all of his leadership positions after he admitted his sexual infidelity and methamphetamine use.

After the scandal was publicized, Haggard entered three weeks of intensive counseling, overseen by four ministers. In February 2007, one of those ministers, Tim Ralph, said that Haggard "is completely heterosexual." Ralph later said he meant that therapy "gave Ted the tools to help to embrace his heterosexual side." As of early 2009, Haggard continues to receive counseling, and now he says that he is a "heterosexual with issues."

In summary: Ted Haggard was born in sin and is a false apostle who has transformed himself into an apostle of Christ, who deceives all the members of his church (2 Cor. 11:13-15). He is a hireling (John 10:12) and his claim that he is a changed man is a lie and a deception. He is of the same spirit today as he was when he was born in 1956 (Luke 9:55).

Unless Ted Haggard and his wife and family, along with the members of his congregation repent and turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan (whose spirit they are of) unto God (Acts 26:18), they will die in their sin. In his natural state and while he is spiritually blind, Ted Haggard will continue to deceive all the members of his new church.
