Natural Disasters - Tornadoes throughout the United States of America and wildfires in Canada

On January 17, 2011, we wrote Julia Gillard, the Prime Minister of Australia to explain the reasons for the devastating floods in her country, that encompassed an area larger than France and Germany combined, a disaster the media referred to as a tragedy of biblical proportions. You can read the complete article under the listing of articles entitled Julia Gillard ~ Prime Minister of Australia.

On July 31, 1993 we wrote President Bill Clinton to explain the great floods of the Mid-Western United States and on September 18, 2005, we wrote him the following as he was involved in the relief effort after Hurricane Katrina and the floods that devastated New Orleans and killed 1464 people.

"You may not understand this but if there had been one righteous person in New Orleans God would have spared the whole City from the recent flood."

Since the beginning of creation the ways of God's judgment have never changed. They are the same today as they were during the days of Noah and Lot (Genesis 6:11-13; 19:16: 2 Peter 2:7).

On Friday, March 11, 2011, the whole world was able to watch the devastating effect of the earthquake off the coast of Japan. The media referred to it as an unprecedented disaster in the Pacific and a humanitarian nightmare.

To understand the full scope of the natural disasters and the earthquakes that plague this world, we encourage you to read the item The Sixth Seal on the Recent Revelations page of this website.

On April 27, 2011, tornadoes moved from Tuscaloosa and Birmingham, Alabama to Knoxville, Tennessee with unprecedented force and destruction killing hundreds of people.

On May 15, 2011, almost half of the Town of Slave Lake, Alberta, Canada, with a population of seven thousand, was destroyed or damaged by a wildfire.

On Sunday, May 22, 2011, a tornado chewed through a densely populated area of the City of Joplin, Missouri, damaging or destroying over 2000 buildings, eliminating a high school and made a direct hit on one of the two hospitals in the city. As of Thursday May 26, 2011 the death toll stood at 125.

The tornado in Joplin brought the number of people, who have died in U.S. tornadoes, to 501 so far this year.

As we were trying to gather information for this latest item to the Current Events page, out of all the horrifying pictures and videos that were posted on the Internet, we would like to explain one video in particular, to show how the people of this world have been deceived.

It is ironic but Joplin is actually named for the Reverend Harris Joplin the founder of the area's first Methodist congregation.

One video depicted a group of people who tried to find safety in a store. It was of poor quality and very dark but the most significant part of the video was the voice of a woman saying: "Jesus, Jesus, heavenly father, thank you Jesus, Jesus Heavenly Father". You could hear her repeating this several times.

The expression "Thank you Jesus" is a standard expression as part of the prayers by some Christian denominations. Why would anyone give praises of thanks to a god, while more than half the city lay in ruin and more than 118 people died?

For a better understanding how the people of this world have been deceived and how they serve unto them which by nature are no gods (Galatians 4:8) and that their prayers are all in vain, as they pray to an image of a false god and a false Christ (Matthew 15:9; 17:20; 24:24), we invite you to read all the pages and articles of this website. Its contents explain in detail, how and by whom this whole world has been deceived (Revelation 12:9).
