Emory University and its false teachings
Emory University is a private research university in metropolitan Atlanta, located in the Druid Hills section of unincorporated DeKalb County, Georgia, United States. The university was founded as Emory College in 1836 in Oxford, Georgia by a small group of Methodists and was named in honor of Methodist bishop John Emory. A land-grant by Asa Candler, the president of The Coca-Cola Company, allowed the small college to move to metropolitan Atlanta in 1915 and become re-chartered as Emory University. The university's mission statement is "to create, preserve, teach, and apply knowledge in the service of humanity."
The university has nearly 3,000 faculty members; awards and honors recognizing Emory faculty include the Nobel Prize, the Pulitzer Prize, National Humanities Medal, Guggenheim Fellowship, Fulbright Fellowship, and membership in the American Academy of Arts & Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences. Emory is ranked 20th among national universities in the U.S. News & World Report.
The university has nine academic divisions: Emory College of Arts and Sciences, Oxford College, Goizueta Business School, Laney Graduate School, School of Law, School of Medicine, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, Rollins School of Public Health, and the Candler School of Theology.

We first communicated with the Executive Director of the Aquinas Center of Theology at Emory University after he posted an article on CNN.com after Pope Francis was elected.
You will find below copies of our communication in response to his article and our responses to his emails. We concluded our communication with two emails to the President of the University.
The following was a small note to explain to the recipients of our email some of Mr. Phillip M. Thompson's credentials and the spirit he served (Luke 9:55).

This is in response to your article 'Francis, open up the church'. As a result of your spiritual blindness you don't know that the new Pope is of the same spirit as all those that have gone before him (Luke 9:55).
Some people in the media are already announcing some kind of renewal in the church but there will not be any, as Pope Francis will face even greater challenges than Pope Benedict, who resigned for reasons other than what he claimed. We invite you to read the entry 'Pope's Resignation a Distraction and a Sideshow from the Real Issues' listed on the Current Events page and the article 'Papal Infallibility, Contradictions and Spiritual Blindness' listed on our website www.aworlddeceived.ca.
We reside in Nova Scotia where in the small Diocese of Antigonish they were forced to sell over 400 church properties as a result of a court settlement in a sexual abuse case. Even the Bishop that arranged for the settlement was stopped at a Canadian Airport and eventually charged with possession of child pornography. You can learn more about the history of sexual abuse in the church by scrolling through the Current Events page and the listing of our articles on our website. Even today it was reported that a priest in Western Newfoundland was sentenced to 11 years in prison for sexually abusing young boys.
Their claim that the church is built and guided by the Holy Spirit is falsehood. Its foundation is built on the spirit of darkness and this world (John 17:16). It stands in opposition to the Word of God. During the reports and the announcement of a new Pope from the Vatican yesterday, a priest announced that he could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit, which happened to be his emotions that had nothing to do with the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God is not a feeling but rather a presence identified by wisdom and knowledge. He also spoke of the 2000 year history of the church, which was another false and misleading statement. Peter was not the first Pope. History had shown and proven that Peter was crucified in Rome and was an apostle of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, not a Pope. It was Leo I (440 to 461 AD) as the bishop of Rome and a servant of sin (John 8:34), that had first made the claim that Peter had been the first Pope. Leo's claim had been enforced through the power of the Roman Emperor, but only received marginal acceptance within the Roman Institution, they now call the Catholic Church. Even the Council of Chalcedon, where Leo exercised great power, refused his request to certify his claim. His assertions of papal supremacy did, however, produce a profound effect in later years, although the doctrine of papal infallibility was not officially declared until 1970. One of the greatest lies fabricated by man, that Peter was the first Pope, has also already been revealed and will be further declared in the coming years to show how the people of this world have been deceived (Rev. 12:9).
Please note that the biggest scandal in the church is yet to be revealed and will involve the history of the Vatican Banking System and its handling of illegal money laundering that for centuries has been hidden, but as confirmed in the Word of God there is nothing covered, that shall not been revealed; and hid, that shall not be known (Matthew 10:26).
The Vatican and the Catholic Church is a haven for sex perverts and all kinds of other abominations. The phenomenon of tens of thousands of church closures will continue and at even a faster rate in the future. The revelations of the misappropriation of funds and the illegal handling and laundering of money will eventually lead to the financial ruin of the church.
When we first contacted the hierarchy of the Catholic Church in the late eighties to inform them that God would visit and expose their sin our message was met with derision and contempt, but as history has already proven, our message was after the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive (John 14:17).
The Mystery Babylon and the Mother of Harlots, as spoken of in Revelation 17:5, has already been clearly exposed and future revelations will expose her abominations even further. The future will also confirm that the wisdom and knowledge you have been teaching at Emory University, has been after the wisdom and knowledge of this world and not after God (1 Cor. 4:2-7). Furthermore, the media will continue to be exposed for shielding the Catholic Institution and for deceiving 1.2 billion of its followers, as it refuses to listen to God's message of repentance as it was preached by Christ and the Apostles (Gal. 1:11,12).

Your reply was a justification of your sinful nature as you don't know what manner of spirit you are of (Luke 9:55).
They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick (your state): I came not to call the righteous (your claim), but sinners (your state) to repentance (Mark 2:17).
1) You are not our friend in Christ but rather an enemy of the Cross of Christ (Phil. 4:18). You are spiritually blind and have transformed yourself into an apostle of Christ (2 Cor. 11:13-15). You follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ (Matthew 24:24).
2) You steal little snippets from the Word of God that you cannot understand as they are spiritually discerned (2 Cor. 2:14).
3) You follow after your own self-righteousness but have not submitted yourself unto the righteousness of God (Romans 10::3.
4) Unless you repent and turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan (whose spirit you are of) unto God (Acts 26:18) you will remain spiritually blind and separated from God and the Word of God will remain a deep hidden mystery to you.
5) You serve after an image of a false god and a false Christ (Matthew 24:24).
6) This whole world has been deceived as confirmed in Revelation 12:9. The Word of God is God (John 1:1), you are just not able to understand it as you are separated from Him. It is spiritually discerned (1 Cor. 2:14).
7) All of the pages and articles listed on our website explain how and by whom this whole world has been deceived but unless you repent you will not be able to understand any of it.
8) Regarding your prayers: please note that they are all in vain as you worship after the doctrines and commandments of men (Matthew 15:9). Did you not even know that Christ did not pray for this world (John 17:9), neither did the apostles or the believers, as it is Satan's kingdom and the Pope and yourself are servants thereof (John 8:34).
Please note that our earlier email to you will be posted on our website in the near future. The following is from the article 'Born of God' from our website. The header on top of every webpage illustrates the Mystery of God. Unfortunately, your natural spirit (the devil) has you convinced that you are spiritual, which is a lie and this is how you have been deceived (2 Cor. 11:13-15).
We learned that, when people turn to God and start the journey of repentance, they experience a total new beginning. They start as babies and little children on a new and narrow path. This is how the journey had started for us and we had to be careful how we shared this information, as it was hard to understand for anyone that was new in the faith.
It takes many years of hard work to reach maturity. Like a seed that falls to the ground, the old plant dies and a new one sprouts up. How quickly the new plant (the converted person) grows depends on the effort the individual puts into it.
ANYONE "BORN OF GOD" KNOWS THAT:
- This present world is Satan's kingdom (Luke 4:6; 11:18; John 12:31; 14:30; 2 Cor 4:4; Eph 2:2).
- To REPENT means to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God (Ezekiel 11:19; 36:26,27; Acts 26:18).

Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1), whom you don't know as you serve after a false Christ (Matthew 24:24). And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:7)
Think not that I come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword (Matthew 10:34). The sword Christ spoke of is the Word of God, which is part of our armour (Eph. 5:17), which be brought you according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive (John 14:17).
You don't know this but the word of God is quick, and powerful and sharper than a two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).

Thomas Aquinas was born in sin through the sinful seed of his natural father (1 Peter 1:23). He was conditioned in his natural state and never knew God. His wisdom stood in the wisdom of men (1 Cor. 2:4) and like yourself never understood what it meant to repent (Acts 26:18). He took an interest in theology and philosophy, while he never knew what it meant to be spiritually poor (Matthew 5:3). He was declared a Saint by the Catholic Church and their standards but he died as an unbeliever.

Since writing Mr. Thompson about the sinful nature of Thomas Aquinas we have added the following information to give you the readers of this article a better understanding of the worldly wisdom and knowledge Thomas Aquinas pursued.
Thomas Aquinas (1225 – 7 March 1274), also Thomas of Aquin or Aquino, was an Italian Dominica priest, and an immensely influential philosopher and theologian in the tradition of scholaticism, within which he is also known as the "Dumb Ox", "Angelic Doctor", "Doctor Communis", and "Doctor Universalis". "Aquinas" is the demonym of Aquino. Thomas came from one of the noblest families of the Kingdom of Naples; his parents held the titles "Count of Aquino" and "Countess of Teano." He was the foremost classical proponent of natural theology, and the father of Thomism. His influence on Western thought is considerable, and much of modern philosophy was conceived in development or refutation of his ideas, particularly in the areas of ethics, natural law, metaphysics, and political theory.
Thomas is held in the Roman Catholic Church to be the model teacher for those studying for the priesthood, and indeed the highest expression of both natural reason and speculative theology. The study of his works, according to papal and magisterial documents, is a core of the required program of study for those seeking ordination as priests or deacons, as well as for those in religious formation and for other students of the sacred disciplines (Catholic philosophy, theology, history, liturgy, and canon law). The works for which he is best-known are the Summa theologiae and the Summa Contra Gentiles. One of the 35 Doctors of the Church, he is considered the Church's greatest theologian and philosopher. Even though you call yourself a Doctor in Theology (after the wisdom of this world), you no longer can find enough wisdom or knowledge to justify yourself. The two predominant colours used by the Vatican are scarlet and purple. That too is recorded in the Word of God in Rev. 17:4, along with the golden cup used during the mass.

The abominations of the Catholic Church can be clearly seen and are clearly understood by the believers. All of the deceptions were recorded two thousand years ago and long before they became official doctrines of the church. They were recorded by the Apostle John by the revelation of Jesus Christ (Rev. 1:1).
The gospel which is preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ (Gal. 1:11,12).

The future will confirm that you and your colleagues deceive all the students at Emory University by teaching the doctrines and commandments of men (Matthew 15:9). The Link to our website would allow the students an opportunity to show them how and by whom they have been deceived as confirmed in Revelation 12:9.
By reading the article on our website 'Papal Infallibility, Contradictions and Spiritual Blindness' you can learn how everything the Pope says is in opposition to the Word of God. The following are a few observations from what could be heard during his recent inauguration.
1) The Pope spoke of saving the environment. He does not know that the environment cannot be saved. We invite you to read the article 'When Will the World End' listed on our website.
- As a result of his spiritual blindness the Pope does not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God (James 4:4; Romans 12:2; 2 cor. 6:17; 1 John 2:15), as this present world is Satan's kingdom (Luke 4:6; 11:18; John 12;31; 14:30; 2 Cor. 4:4; Eph. 2:2).
- The Pope prays for this world and social issues, while Christ and the believers do not pray for this world (John 17:9). The believers are not of this world (John 17:16). In fact they have overcome it (1 John 5:4), while the Pope is the servant thereof (John 8:34).
2) The Pope prays for the poor of this world. As a result of his spiritual blindness he does not know that world poverty is the result of the spiritual blindness of mankind. God looked after a host of approximately two million people for forty years while they walked through the wilderness. As the believers walk in the wilderness (this present world) during their journey of repentance, God provides for them every step of the way in all things. This is one of the reasons that you do not see a 'Donate' page on our website. The gift of 'Life' was freely given and freely do we give to all those that believe in the truth (Matthew 6:26; 10:8).
- While the Pope concerns himself with those that are poor according to the world's standards, the Word of God, Christ, the apostles and the believers concern themselves with those that are spiritually poor: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:3). The Pope and the members of his church claim to be spiritually rich and trust us, it is easier for a camel to go through the eyes of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God (Matthew 19:24).
3) The Pope also made reference to human nature but as a result of his spiritual blindness he does not know that 'human nature' is enmity with God (Romans 8:7).
4) During the inauguration people were able to observe all of the worldly rituals that included the Vatican's man-made celebrations, that included the wearing of clothing, vestments, hats, staffs, rings, shoes, etc, etc. that in God's eyes are all an abomination. The use of the colors scarlet and purple and a golden cup, as spoken of in Revelation 17:4, we have already discussed and you can read about it on the Recent Revelations page of our website (second item).
The color white is also spoken of in the Word of God. The common dress the Pope wears is referred to as the 'Ordinary Dress'. It is white in color. Equally glamorous is the papal 'pallium', a thick band that encircles the neck with pendants at the end, it is white in color and is traditionally made of sheep's wool raised by Trappist monks.
The Word of God teaches us in Matthew 7:15 to be beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves (spiritually speaking).
The words spoken by Pope Francis and his actions, the Vatican's celebrations are all in opposition to the Word of God. The Word of God is spiritually discerned (1 Cor. 2:14) and unless the Pope repents (please study what it means to repent) he will remain spiritually blind and will continue to deceive 1.2 billion Catholics, including all those involved with Emory University, as confirmed in Revelation 12:9.
Please note that our administrator has now added the item 'Francis, open up the church' to the Current Events page of our website. Also, in the future a new article 'Emory University and its false teachings' will also be added to our website, similar to the article about Boston University. It will show how Mr. Thompson refused our invitation to hear our testimony of Christ, and how he refused to accept our message of repentance, as it was preached by Christ and the apostles.
