Who is God and who is Satan?

The word the Bible uses to describe the spirit that controls the spiritual body, as mentioned in 1 Cor. 15:44, is 'God'. It is also referred to as the spirit of light. It is largely believed that the first five books of the Bible were written by Moses and when he first spoke of God, he used the Hebrew word 'elohiym' or 'almighty'.

The word the Bible uses to describe the spirit that controls the natural body, as mentioned in 1 Cor. 15:44, is 'Satan'. It is also referred to as the spirit of darkness and the spirit of this world (1 Cor. 2:12). The word 'Satan' means 'the opponent' or the arch-enemy of good. In the New Testament the writers used the Greek word 'Satanas', which meant 'the accuser', i.e. the devil.

There are many references to describe the prince of this world and the prince of devils and darkness, but the word 'Satan' itself was used 19 times in the Old and 35 times in the New Testament. Now, if the Bible uses the word 54 times it must have a very significant meaning. It most certainly has!

The word Satan was first used in 1 Chronicles 21:1 but his spirit was first mentioned in Genesis 3:1, when Moses described Satan as the serpent who spoke to Eve. Now we know that serpents don't speak, so who was the serpent?

Most of the book of Genesis was written in parable form. Moses was not the only one that wrote in parables and it should be noted that he did not have the opportunity to go to a local library or obtain information from the internet to gather information about any past history.

He wrote about the beginning of creation and Adam & Eve approximately 1300 BC, while the actual events concerning Adam & Eve had taken place 2700 years earlier at 4000 BC. It had all been revealed to him by inspiration of God.

Isaiah 54:13. And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord.

Jeremiah 31:34. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother.

Matthew 16:17. Blessed art thou Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

John 6:45. And they shall be all taught of God.

John 14:26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you in all things.

John 15:26. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.

Galatians 1:11,12. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

2 Tim. 3:16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God.

1 John 2:27. Ye need not that any man teach you.

Many of the prophets that went forth before Christ (Old Testament) wrote in parables also. There are over 24 recorded titled parables in the Old Testament, while there are many more stories and words that were used in parable form also.

When the disciples asked Christ why he spoke in parables he answered and said unto them: Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but unto them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away that he hath.

Therefore I speak to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand (Matthew 13:10-15). Moses and all the other prophets wrote in parables for the same reason.

The believers have not received the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto Him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth (discerneth) all things, yet he himself is judged of no man (1 Cor. 2: 12-15).

In reading the parable of the Good Samaritan: has anyone ever wondered why the first two people who ignored the man who fell among thieves, were a priest and a Levite (Luke 10:30-36)? Has anyone ever wondered who the thieves were that stripped the man of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead?

Did anyone ever wonder what was meant with his raiment? Please read on what mankind must do to be able to understand the Bible, including the parables and why a priest and a Levite would leave a man (spiritually) wounded? The same holds true today, as Jesus Christ was the same yesterday, is the same today and always will be (Hebrews 13:8).

The serpent in Genesis 3:1 was not a snake but rather the same serpent and viper Christ cursed in Matthew 3:7; 23:33 and Luke 3:7. That is correct, it was a person. Let me explain what is written in Matthew 3:7: But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadduccees (religious members of society) come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Also in Matthew 23:33 it is written: Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can you escape the damnation of hell? Remember now that this was God Himself speaking.

The Bible tells us how it is a deep hidden mystery (1 Cor. 2:7; 4:1; 13:2; Eph. 1:9; 3:3; 6:19; Col. 2:2; 1 Tim. 3:16) but that all understanding to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God was given to the apostles and the followers of Christ (Mark 4:11,12).

God will reveal all things to those that turn to Him in truth, for there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed; and hid that shall not be made known (Matthew 10:26; Luke 12:2).

In the chapter entitled 'The Mystery of God Revealed' of the book A World Deceived, it explains that at one time everything was good on earth, till there was a rebellion by Lucifer and a third of the angels and he was cast out into the earth, since he wanted to be equal with God (Isaiah 14:12-14).

As mentioned earlier, the first sign of Satan and the first time he made his mark in the history of mankind, was in Genesis 3:1, when his spirit in a form of a man (serpent) spoke to Eve who eventually deceived Adam, after God had chosen him to preach the Kingdom of God, and to teach mankind about the ways of the true and living God.

Adam was made the first living soul (Genesis 2:7; 1 Cor. 15:45) and through his failure and fall from God's grace, all of mankind came to live under the spirit of darkness (Satan) and sin.

By nature we are all born in sin and under the powers of Satan (sin) through the sinful seed of our natural fathers (John 1:13; 3:5; 1 Peter 1:23; 1 John 3:9). This is the reason that Christ was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:20; Luke 1:35). There was no need for Him to repent and change from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God. He was God and the light of the world.

Now people get very confused when we spoke of Adam & Eve having been chosen by God approximately 4000 BC, as mankind, in some form, has existed for millions of years. Much of this is revealed and explained in the book A World Deceived. Most people have been conditioned by the spirit of this world and religious doctrines, in believing that Adam & Eve were the first man and woman that dwelt on the earth. This is a lie. Adam was chosen by God and was the first living soul (Genesis 2:7; 1 Cor. 15:55).

He lived in an area west of Baghdad called Eden from 4000 to 3070 BC at a time when the world was populated on all continents.

To give the reader a better understanding of the above mystery, we will explain a few words from the second chapter of the book of Genesis.

Genesis 2:5
'Rain' is referred to in the Bible as God's spirit. The Bible speaks on a number of occasions about both, the former and the latter rain on the earth signifying the presence of God before (BC) and after Christ (AD).

Genesis 2:5
'Till the ground' is referred to in the Bible as preaching the Kingdom of God.

Genesis 2:6
'Mist' is referred to in the Bible as God's spirit. There is also the mist of darkness as quoted in 2 Peter 2:17.

Genesis 2:7
'Formed' is referred to in the Bible as transforming him, as God transforms and renews all the believers. God is the potter, the believers are the clay.

Genesis 2:7
'Breathed into his nostrils the breath of life' is referred to in the Bible as God's spirit. It has nothing to do with oxygen.

Genesis 2:9
'Tree' is referred to in the Bible as a person (people).

Genesis 2:9
'The tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.' If you review the header on the front and back page of the book 'A World Deceived' and on top of every page of this web site you will be able to view both of them. It is also displayed on top of every new chapter of the book.

Genesis 2:25
'Naked' is referred to as spiritual nakedness. Remember the Bible is a spiritual book. They were not ashamed of sharing the wisdom and knowledge of God with the people of this world and were pleased to have been chosen to be the light of the world. In fact, Adam was the first Christ but failed in his mission, as he was deceived by Eve and the spirit of darkness (Satan).

For this reason God came into this world in the Name of Jesus Christ, to show us the way and the example for the believers to follow. By faith, the believers would be able to overcome the spirit of darkness (Satan) and this world (John 16:33; 1 John 5:4,5, Rev 2:7).

I grew up, like most people, believing that the fruit Eve ate was an apple and when Adam ate of it, that the same incident condemned all of mankind. Silly when you really think of it! Did anyone ever wonder what the apple was?

It is interesting to note that during the days of our ministry, we have ministered to many people and in all cases, when men of all ages have reached out for spiritual guidance and the 'truth', it has always been the woman or girlfriend that influenced the man and eventually pulled him back into bondage and the powers of darkness and the spirit of this world (Gal. 4:8,9). This is the spiritual truth and we lie not.

The following is what the apostle Paul wrote two thousand years ago to the people of Corinth as recorded in 2 Cor. 11:3,4. (The city state of Corinth was between those of Sparta and Athens, Greece and had 900 square kilometers of mountains and farmland).

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve (Gen. 3:13) through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ, for he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

As you can see, nothing has changed since the days of Adam & Eve. Now back to the apple. Yes, an apple is a fruit. Now we ask you to review the header of this web page, which displays the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil and ask you the question; which tree do you think the apple came from that deceived Eve and eventually Adam? Please remember that a tree in the Bible is often referred to as a person (people).

Keeping the above information in mind, you should be able to understand what the tree was that the woman saw and that was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise (Genesis 3:6).

The above are only a few of the many mysteries of the first few chapters of the Bible. Consider the mystery of Noah and Jonah? Did anyone ever wonder if the flood during the days of Noah engulfed the whole world? A few minutes of studying the history of this event and when it took place, would quickly reveal that immediately after the events of Noah, the rest of the world, besides the area Noah lived, was still populated.

A study of the genealogies of the Patriarchs from Adam to Noah confirms that the flood took place approximately 2349 BC, at a time when people lived on all continents throughout the world. The purpose of the flood was to remove Adam's offspring up to the time of Noah in the area where they lived (Genesis - chapter 6).

It is interesting to note that as late as 1830 AD the Tigris overflowed its banks, swept through Bagdad (where Noah lived from 2944 - 1994 BC), and drowned 15,000 people in one night.

Consider the age of the Patriarchs, some of whom lived up to 600 and even 969 years old. Why did God reduce the number of their years (Gen. 6:3)? Who were those Patriarchs and what was the life expectancy of mankind in those days?

Adam lived to be 930 years of age. Would he have enjoyed eternal life, if he had not forsaken God? Or consider the story of Jonah and what was meant that he was three days and three nights in the whale's belly, or the Son of man who was in the heart of the earth for three days and nights (John 12:40)?

What were "the boils" that Job suffered from? Was it the 'date boil', an uncanny, pernicious pest that was very common in that part of the Middle East? The spiritual battle in Job's life was between God and Satan and is the same spiritual battle that every person endures during the journey of repentance.

Despite the advice of his religious friends, Job did not rely on any remedies to help him overcome his afflictions, his suffering and his natural spirit. Instead he relied in all things on God.

Since the days of Adam, Satan has become the Master Deceiver of this world. He is actually referred to as the prince of this world in John 12:31. When the Bible refers to the devil, it refers to the natural spirit of man and when a person reads the Bible or is a member of a religious organization, the devil has them convinced that they are children of God.

In fact, by nature they are children of the devil (1 John 3:10) and because they say they can see, they will remain blind (John 9:39). The expression "The devil made me do it", is in fact very true. The problem is that mankind is spiritually blind and does not know who or what a devil is. Every man, woman and child is under the power of the devil and only God can deliver mankind from the captivity and the bondage of sin.

We know a lady who reads the Bible at every opportunity. While reading the Bible, the devil (her natural spirit) has her convinced that she is a child of God, while in fact, she is a child of the devil (Acts 13:10). Like millions of others like her, she will probably read the Bible the rest of her life as a so-called self-proclaimed Christian, attend church on Sundays, attend Bible classes and ever learning will never be able to come to the knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 3:6,7).

She will remain spiritually blind and it is unlikely that she is ever able to acknowledge that she is a sinner and under the power of Satan, as she already thinks she is right with God (self-righteousness).

Recently, a local drifter confessed to attacking a woman in the north Georgian mountains of the USA and eventually killed and decapitated her. A gruesome story most people will say.

In the spiritual realm, the drifter or any convicted murderer who is serving a life sentence in jail, a prostitute, adulterer, homosexual, or someone who has an abortion, is of the same spirit as the person who attends a 'so-called' church, temple or a synagogue and is of the same spirit as the Pope, your bishop, rabbi, priest, pastor or minister.

Remember the priest and Levite that left the spiritually wounded man half-dead in the parable of the Good Samaritan? The Bible is truth and there is no lie in it (2 Cor. 6:7; Eph. 1:13; Col. 1:5; James 1:18).

The Dalai Lama also claims to be a so-called spiritual leader but he also does not know what spirit he is of, as he walks according to the spirit of this world, and unless he repents, he will remain spiritually blind.

So it is with all other religious leaders of this world. They do not know what spirit they are of (Luke 9:55) and lead all their members astray.

Therefore our message to them remains the same: Ye must repent and turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God (Acts 26:18).

To be able to acknowledge that you are a sinner and under the power of Satan, is the first prerequisite in the process of repentance, on the journey that can lead mankind on the narrow road to the Kingdom of God. As Christ himself told us, it is a very narrow road that leads unto life, and only few there be that find it (Matthew 7:14).

The spirit of God within a person is called the Holy Ghost and is also referred to as the Comforter, that the Father will send in his name. He shall teach all those that believe in Him in truth and that turn from darkness to light and the power of Satan unto God (John 14:26; Acts 26:18).

The book A World Deceived explains how Satan has deceived this whole world, as mentioned in Revelation 12:9 and how he has people believing that he is a God.

Religion is his biggest stronghold in this world (his kingdom), including so-called Christianity. While they all preach a bewildering variety of local rites and doctrines in their search for the Universal One, they all fall short and worship in vain, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men (Matthew 15:9).

In fact, all the religions of this world claim to be able to provide a ticket to a so-called heaven, that nobody is able to explain, what it is or what it consists of. Let it be known to all of mankind that there is none other name under heaven given among men, other than the name of Jesus Christ, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:10-12).

Satan has distorted things in such a way that people don't even dare mention the name, as the word has been associated with Satanic cults, certain religious organizations and individuals, while his spirit controls the lives of every man, woman and child.

This present world is his kingdom (Matthew 12:26; Mark 3:24; Luke 11:18) and his spirit (darkness) controls all of this world's affairs and is the cause of every war, hardship, disease, tribulation, etc., etc. For this reason did Christ, the apostles and those that followed, call mankind everywhere to repent and turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God (Acts 26:18).

Through the pages and articles of this website and the book A World Deceived we have attempted to show mankind how it has been deceived and how Satan has transformed himself into an angel of light and how his ministers have transformed themselves into the apostles of Christ (2 Cor. 10:13,14).

It should be clear to mankind by the history and the fruits of religion alone, that they have been deceived, but unfortunately, they cannot understand our message and do not know what spirit keeps them captive and in the bondage of sin and the powers of Satan.

For a better understanding of the workings of the spirit of darkness and the powers of Satan, we encourage you to review and study the Current Events page of this web site.

In the meantime, mankind continues to be separated from God and spiritually blind and for this reason do we continue to repeat the same message of repentance that was preached by Christ and the apostles.

I certify you, that the gospel which is preached of me is not after man, for I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ (Gal. 1:11,12).

Therefore we beseech you, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world (Satan's Kingdom): but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind (repent), that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God (Romans 12:1,2).

A Contact page is included with this web site and we look forward to answer any further questions anyone may have.
