On August 16, 2009, our local paper reported that the incoming president of the Canadian Medical Association recently said that this country's health-care system is sick and doctors need a plan to cure it. Dr. Anne Doig went on to say: "We all agree that the system is imploding (explode inward, collapse from within), we all agree that things are more precarious than perhaps Canadians realize," she said in an interview with The Canadian Press.
On February 5, 2009 we wrote the new President and Vice-President of The United States of America our final message and informed them that one of the key issues their administration would have to deal with would be health-care. Most people are aware that the health-care system has been collapsing for many years and that any attempts by governments to rebuild the system are a futile attempt.
On November 3, 2008, I testified before a Select Committee of the Government of Nova Scotia and informed them about the causes and the reasons for the financial meltdown, the collapse of the health-care system and the Participation of the Democratic Process.
