CNN, on September 26, 2006, headlined the story about Emmanuel Milingo — the archbishop of Lusaka, Zambia — who riled the Roman Catholic Church by supporting marriage among catholic priests, and as a result was excommunicated by the Vatican. Five years ago Milingo broke his own vows by marrying a woman in a mass wedding service in New York, officiated by Korean evangelist Sun Myung Moon, and recently ordained four married priests as bishops, who were also excommunicated.
