On September 7, 2007, CNN reported that the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego agreed to pay $198.1 million to settle 144 sexual abuse cases by clergy. This is the second largest payment made, since the abuse scandals erupted in 2002.
A recent search using Google, found 829,000 pages on "Episcopal Leaders Scandals" and 829 pages of them were from Canada.
