Please find below a copy of our letter, dated April 20, 2009, in response to Mr. Meacham's article in Newsweek.
Dear Sir,
Thank you for your recent article on 'The Decline and Fall of Christian America' in Newsweek Magazine. However, your article only describes some of the historical events based on the words of man's wisdom and of this world, but it contained no spiritual truth concerning this matter (1 Cor. 2:4-16).
When I speak of the word 'spiritual' I am speaking of spiritual matters that are according to God's wisdom that cannot be taught by man, i.e. to know the difference between evil and good and darkness and light (Acts 26:18; Luke 9:55).
We have ministered to the people of this world for twenty four years and the gospel we preach is not after man, for we neither received it of man, neither were we taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ (Gal. 1:11,12).
Most of the words of the mystery of God and how it relates to the events that are shaping this world, are written in the book A World Deceived and on the pages and in the articles listed on our website. We do make mention of your recent article on the Current Events page of our website.
Before starting to write this letter, God directed me to His words as spoken by my brother Jeremiah, twenty six hundred years ago and those words are still true today.
Jeremiah 10:10-15
But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations, shall not be able to abide his indignation.
Thus shall ye say unto them, the gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
Every man is brutish in his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood; and there is no breath in them.
They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.The header on top of this page signifies the natural and the spiritual body as described in 1 Cor. 15:44. It also signifies the tree (person) of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Please know that as a member of the natural body, you cannot understand the Bible as confirmed in 1 Cor. 2:14. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
It is only through the baptism of repentance (Mark 1:4) that you will be able to come to the knowledge of God and His Word (the Bible). For a better understanding of the baptism of repentance, we invite you to read the article Repent on our website.

If God revealed Himself to you he would open your eyes and show you that the 'molten image' Jeremiah spoke of, refers to the man-made doctrines mankind follows through the thousands of different religions.
Christ warned the disciples two thousand years ago by telling them that there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect (Matthew 24:24).

The Bible is true in all things and in twenty five years of service to God, we know that there are only few people (Matthew 7:14) that believe in our message of repentance as mankind prefers darkness over light (John 3:19).
To give you a better understanding of our work as Soldiers for Christ, I would like to explain a few things you wrote about in your article.
You wrote that as a nation we remain decisively shaped by religious faith. Please know that the faith you speak of is built on the wrong foundation and not on the true and living God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Jeremiah and Andy & Dianne van den Berg.
The use of the word Christianity in your article is falsehood as it is based on a false Christ and not the man (God in the flesh) that came two thousand years ago to give life into the world (John 6:33). A quick glance through your morning paper will confirm that so-called Christianity is falsehood.
You also wrote that a third of all Americans say that they are born-again. This is also falsehood as they are not Born of God. You can learn more about this by reading the article Judging - Born Again and in my letter to Glenn Beck of Fox News, both of which you will find on our website.
You also wrote that the proportion of Americans who think religion "can answer all or most of today's problems" is now at a historic low of 48 percent. If a third of all Americans claim to be born again out of a total population of 303 million that would be 101 million people. Wow!!
Now, Christ (the true Christ) taught us the following in Matthew 18:19,20. Again, I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Can't you see for yourself that there is something drastically wrong with man's wisdom? Please read 1 Cor. 1:20. Trust me, the Bible is correct in all things.
Yes, you are correct by saying that many conservative Christians believe they have lost the battles over issues such as abortion, school prayer and even same sex-marriage. The reason is a very simple one: they do not follow after the teachings of Christ but rather after a false Christ as they have been deceived.
They are ignorant of God's righteousness and have established their own righteousness, but they have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God (Romans 10:3). In fact, the Bible teaches us that the whole world has been deceived (Rev. 12:9).
They judge abortionists and members of the homosexual community after the flesh and their judgment is not after the Spirit of God (John 8:15,16).
Also, the theory of evolution does not conflict with the book of Genesis. Most of the book of Genesis was written in parable form that mankind is unable to understand. The only true words in your article are the scriptural references you used, but unfortunately were not able to comprehend as a result of your own spiritual blindness, and for this reason do we call you to repentance.
Isaiah 40:15. All nations are to him a drop in the bucket and less than nothing (a translated version of the original). Isaiah was correct of course. God is no respecter of persons as you can read in Deut. 10:17; 2 Chr. 19:7; Job 34:19; Acts 10:34; Rom. 2:11; Gal. 2:6; Eph. 6:9; Eph. 6:9; Col. 3:25; 1 Peter 1:17.
John 18:36. My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight. Christ spoke these words as he stood before Pilate and before the religious people of this world crucified Him.
As Soldiers for Christ the weapons of our warfare are not carnal (1 Cor. 10:4) and described in Ephesians 6:12-19.
Most people that write us, view us to be critical and condemning. However, the words we speak are not of our own as is written in John 12:48-50. He that rejecteth me and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father, which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
Our speech and words offend most people but blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me (Matthew 11:6).
Recently we received an e-mail from someone who wrote us and asked us a few questions, and when we answered his questions he wrote us back, falsely accusing us and referring to the Bible as fairy tales. He even spoke all manner of evil against us, confirming what Christ spoke of to his disciples. So, we wrote him the following.
Matthew 5:10. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:11. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Matthew 10:22. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
Luke 6:22. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
John 15:18. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.After we wrote him the above scriptural references we never heard back from him.
In your article you referred to dialogue you had with the president of the largest seminary on earth and used your conversation with him and the results of the 2009 American Religious Identification Survey as the basis for your story.
You refer to him as a believer, but spiritually speaking and in God's eyes, he is a blind guide and a false apostle, who teaches after the wisdom of this world and not after God (1 Cor. 2:6,7). He is a servant of sin (John 8:34), deceiving others and being deceived (1 Tim. 3:13) and a believer in an image of a false god and a false Christ.
I am sure that you will find the above description of someone you used for your article, rather shocking and disturbing. Spiritually however, it is the unequivocal truth as he has transformed himself into an apostle of Christ (2 Cor. 11:13).
He was born in sin and unless he repents and turns from darkness to light and from the power of Satan (whose power he is under) unto God, he will die in his sin as will you and all of mankind (Acts 26:18; Romans 6:23).
In the closing paragraph of your story, you wrote how the president of the seminary had recently written in an article that "Jesus Christ promised that the very gates of Hell would not prevail against his church", referring to a new wave of future pastors. He further wrote that this new wave of pastors intends to push back against hell in bold and visionary ministry.
The words by Jesus were correct but the president of the seminary and the pastors do not know what manner of spirit they are of (Luke 9:55), and they are the ones that will most certainly fall as part of God's judgment.
They do not know that they will find themselves fighting against God (Acts 5:39). You will see for yourself that God is the stronger one in this spiritual battle (Luke 11:21-26).
So, how will you know the truth? Well, the easiest way is to turn to God and repent. He will send you the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, he shall teach you in all things (John 15:26).
On the other hand, if you do not submit yourself to the ways of the only true God, he will confound you in your wisdom as He will all of mankind (1 Cor. 19-21).
My parents sent me to a seminary at a young age to study for the priesthood. You can read more about this in my book A World Deceived. At the seminary more than 700 young men between the ages of twelve and twenty were being taught in the wisdom of false doctrines and of an image of a false god.
Seven years ago, while visiting Holland where I grew up, we learned that they had turned the seminary I had attended into a national police academy. In fact, the main church and the many chapels, where the bishop and all the priests used to say mass, had been turned into a conference hall with an adjoining kitchen and bar area.
Think about it! If the seminary had been founded on the foundation of the true and living God, would it have been turned into a police academy?
So it will be with all the seminaries, Bible Schools and Colleges throughout the world.
We are living at a time in history when God's judgment will visit the nations and He will reveal the spiritual blindness of mankind and show them how they have been deceived.
Many of the signs of God's visitation can already be witnessed. Consider the title of your story: The Decline and Fall of Christian America.
God will also pull down the strongholds of this world as it speaks of in 2 Cor. 10:4 and Matthew 10:26-28, religion being the strongest of them all. These words were part of an article I wrote in the late eighties and that eventually became part of the book A World Deceived (see page 64). It will come to pass!
It is like the spiritually rich (religious) man who went to hell and when he saw Lazarus the beggar (sinner) afar off, he cried out to Abraham to send someone to his five brothers but Abraham said; They have Moses and the prophets. And the rich man said, Nay, father Abraham; but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And Abraham said unto him, if they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead (Luke 16:19-31).
Or it is like the spiritually rich (religious) man, who would have a more difficult time to enter the kingdom of heaven than it would be for a camel to go through the eye of a needle (Matthew 19:24).
With the above information, we hope that your next article will give people a better understanding of the issues and the deceptions that keep them in bondage and the power of sin.
