What is Sin?

The following is an excerpt from page 36 of the book 'A World Deceived'.

Sin is not just an act such as prostitution , alcoholism, adultery or a drug addiction, as the spirit of this world has made you believe but is the fruit of every man, woman and child (Romans 3:9; Gal. 3:22).

For the purpose of this article and to give mankind a better understanding of the title of this article, we would like to add the words 'abortion' and 'homosexuality' as another act.

Sin is often referred to in the Bible in the same context as Satan, and his servants are therefore also described as the servants of sin (John 8:34). Sin is the natural state a person is born in and his/her whole being is sinful. It is the fruit of the natural body.

As such, every person is separated from the true and living God and under the power of Satan. Religion or any form of Baptism does not change that and is a form of self-transformation of the natural body. This is how Satan has transformed himself into an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14).

Only the Baptism of Repentance (Mark 1:5) and transformation by God from darkness to light and the powers of Satan unto God, can reunite mankind with the true and living God (Matthew 9:16,17). This is why God teaches us in 1 Peter 1:23, that every person needs to be 'Born Again', not of corruptible seed (our natural fathers), but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

When God dwelt in this world in the Name of Jesus Christ, two thousand years ago, the Pharisees, Sadduccees and scribes (the religious members of society) continuously tried to convince Him of sin (John 8:46), as He had informed them that they were not able to understand or hear His message, because they were of their father the devil and they were doing the lust of their father (Satan).

He also informed them that they were not of God (John 8:43-47). Remember now that they truly thought that they knew God and that they worshipped him in truth, but when He dwelt amongst them they crucified Him, as they could not believe His message of repentance (1 Cor. 2:14) and did not like it that He convinced them that they were sinners and that they lived under the power of sin (Satan).

They also thought that sin was some kind of act and they even approached him as they thought that certain people had died as a punishment of God because of their sin (Luke 13:1-5), but Christ's message always remained the same: Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish (Luke 13:3,5). To repent means to turn from darkness to light and the power of Satan unto God (Acts 26:18). This message of repentance is the same message that we preach to you today.

The words that Christ spoke to the so-called religious people in His days are the same words He would speak to them today (please read Matthew chapter 13).

When the scribes and the Pharisees brought Him a woman that had been caught in adultery, they thought it was right to stone her, but as they accused her in front of Him, they all left when Christ said unto them: He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her (John 8:3-7). They thought that sin was an act and they did not understand that they were all under the power of sin (Satan).

Even after this, the Pharisees (religious members of society) tried to test Him, as His words continued to bring judgment on them, especially when He informed them that they judged after the flesh (John 8:15) and that they would die in their sins (John 8:21).

It is a lot easier for a prostitute to claim that he/she is a sinner and under the power of Satan, than someone who attends a so-called church every Sunday to claim they are self-righteous. In fact, the latter is almost impossible. Please read Matthew 19:24-26. This is also written in parable form. The 'rich man' refers to someone who claims to be spiritually rich (remember the Bible is a spiritual book).

Christ, the apostles and the believers do not judge after the flesh but after the spirit of man and their judgment is true (John 8:16, 1 Cor. 2:15). Please read the article on 'Judging - Born Again' on this web site.

When we first came into our faith in 1984 and God started to transform and teach us in His holy ways, it took five months (we were slow learners) for God to show us how we ourselves had been deceived by the spirit of this world. We had no idea then of the full extent how the people of this world had been deceived.

It was only when we eventually started to reach out to others, outside our own family and community, that we learned of the powers that kept them in the bondage of sin and under the power of Satan.

Since the days of our calling, we have reached out to many world, political and church leaders of all denominations, to show them what spirit they are of. This is how we learned that we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).

Every Christmas and Easter, millions of people tune into the TV or in person to listen to the Pope and his traditional message of peace. While there will not be any peace in this world, people still cannot understand that he deceives all the Catholics throughout the world as he does not know what spirit he is of.

Because he is spiritually blind and separated from God, he cannot understand the Bible (1 Cor. 2:14), what it means to be a sinner or the message of repentance. The same is true for the Dalai Lama, your bishops, priests, rabbis, pastors, deacons, ministers, etc., etc.

As you glance through the yellow pages of your local telephone directory and you look through the listings of religious organizations and churches, it is hard to comprehend that all the members of these institutions have been deceived. While they think they follow after the true and living God, they do not realize that they follow after an image of a false God and ever-learning they are never able to come to the knowledge of the truth (2 Tim. 3:7).

I know it seems far-fetched but nevertheless, it is the unequivocal truth. I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost (Romans 9:1).

Unless a person repents and turns from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, they will not be able to understand the Bible as it is spiritually discerned (1 Cor. 2:14). The Bible is God and as long as mankind remains separated from Him, they will continue to be confounded by the words from the Bible.

Attending and studying at Bible schools/colleges, Bible classes, seminaries, etc. is a waste of time and energy and only blinds a person more (John 9:39). The Bible Societies of this world are not able to bring mankind back to God, this is also a deception.

Mankind can only blame himself for this condemnation as man has always loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (John 3:19).

No man that warreth for the Kingdom of God entangleth himself with the affairs of this life (2 Tim. 2:4). Nevertheless, as we write this article, we are traveling through the southern United States and the religious movement here are a most powerful identity (force), with more churches and religious organizations than they have coffee and donut shops in Canada (they are visible on almost every street corner).

Conveying a message that convinces them that they are under the power of Satan and sin, and that they serve his kingdom, would turn this country upside down. We know that in due course and at God's time, it will.

Trust us, we have been at the receiving end of the wrath of the religious community on many occasions and it is no wonder that they crucified our Lord and Saviour two thousand years ago (Matthew 5:10,11). In fact, throughout the history of mankind they have been responsible for the blood of the saints (believers), the prophets and God's servants (Rev. 17:6; 18:24; 19:2).

Even George W. Bush would not have been able to obtain the office as President of the USA, if it had not been for the vote of the religious right movement. But thanks be to God, as He is about to add His voice as part of His judgment on the USA and this present world.

Please review the article entitled: 'False Apostles and False Christs' on this web site. It explains how God will bring judgment on the nations of this world and the reasons 'Why'? Let there be no doubt, it will happen.

I certify you, that the gospel which is preached of me is not after man, for I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ (Gal. 1:11,12).

In order to be able to come to a full understanding of God's judgment and what it means to be a sinner and to repent, we encourage you to read the book 'A World Deceived' and all of the pages and articles listed on this web site.
