Can Christianity or Any Other Religion Save You?
Matthew 1:21. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sin.
Mark 10:26,27. And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
In the former days (before Christ) God spoke through His servants the prophets but only few believed and as promised, God Himself came into this world more than two thousand years ago in the name of Jesus Christ and manifested Himself to the few that believed in Him. Throughout the ages and as scripture records, only few people have ever believed in the true and living God (Matthew 7:14).
Soon after the apostles were instructed to go out into the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15), the spirit of Antichrist and this world (1 John 2:18) was already at work and busy copying the work of Christ and the apostles. It is no wonder therefore that the word 'Christianity' cannot be found in the Bible, but was stolen by mankind from the word 'Christian(s)', a name given to the apostles when they visited Antioch (Acts 11:26).
The westward spread of 'so-called' Christianity throughout Western Europe and eventually the world, was aided by a combination of historical and cultural factors but its teachings had nothing to do with the true and living God (Please read the Chapter on the Mystery Babylon in the book 'A World Deceived').
Many other religions (Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, etc., etc.) have sprung up as part of Satan's divided kingdom (Matthew 12:26). They all share the same fundamental beliefs, each of them developing a bewildering variety of local rites and doctrines in their quest for their search for the Universal One, only to fall short in their search for the true and living God as they worship in vain, teaching for doctrines the commandment of men (Matthew 15:9).
The book 'A World Deceived' clearly explains the Mystery of God and Christ. It also explains the process of repentance as the only way for mankind to be reunited with God and to be able to understand the Bible. Only then will people learn and know that the Bible is a spiritual book that mankind, in its natural state, is unable to understand (1 Cor. 2:14).
For example: When Christ said in Matthew 19:24: It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God, the apostles were exceedingly amazed. When a person repents they will come to understand what Christ meant with the above saying and all of the rest of Scriptures and they too will be exceedingly amazed who the 'rich man' is.
Please read and understand what it means to repent on page 29 of the book 'A World Deceived", as it is not what you have been conditioned to believe. Again, it is a must-read for everyone wishing to know the truth.
